DESCRIPTION:Join Kathie Bishop’s watercolor greeting cards workshop this March 14th\, 10am-1pm at the East County Art Association Gallery where students will create personalized greeting cards using simple to follow methods. This workshop will focus on discovering the beautiful details of spring and how to express them through watercolor art. \nPROPOSED SCHEDULE\nSaturday March 14 Workshop – 2 hours – 10:00am – 1:00pm: \no 10-10:30 am – Intro\, instruction demo\no 10:30-11:30 am – Paint greeting cards\no 11:30-11:45 – 15-minute break\no 11:45-12:45pm – Detail greeting cards with watercolor pencils\no 12:45 – 1:00pm – Final details \nThis workshop is for adults of any skill level. Great for first-time beginners. \nList of Materials Provided by the Teaching Artist:\n5×7 Strathmore greeting cards\, 140 lb cold press with envelops. Watercolor\npaints\, brushes\, watercolor pencils and acrylic ink pens. Krylon acrylic sealing\nspray. **Nature Journal Kit provided to new participants who have not received\none in a previous workshop. \n
