ABOUT THE EXHIBITION:
AbandonmenTissues reclaims creativity as a tool for action against the challenges of our time: ranging from environmental ones to even the most intimate inner battles. The grand opening event kicks off a months-long exhibition, and includes special activations designed to reinforce Alvaro’s artistic thesis: difficulties can have unlimited potential as well – demonstrating how creativity can flourish even in adversity, motivating viewers to imagine new possibilities.
With this exhibition, Alvaro invites us to rethink abandonment: what have we left behind? Our sense of responsibility, our capacity to create, our connection to the environment, our connection to ourselves? AbandonmenTissues responds enthusiastically with a clear proposal: challenges are also raw goods for rebuilding.
