UNCONVENTIONAL SURFACES- Juried Award Exhibition

ECAA Members, for this juried award exhibition, we invite you to create work made on anything but a traditional canvas!
Drop-off at gallery: October 24, 25th 11-2pm ( must be in person)
Submit your most unique pieces created on unconventional surfaces—from sculptural objects to wearable art, and anything in between.
All selected works must be priced at $250 or less, creating an accessible platform for collectors and art lovers to take home something truly unique. This is an opportunity to discover original works that bend the rules!
- Price Limit: $250 max per piece
- Submit up to 5 works at the gallery (Max 3 accepted)
- All work must be ready to hang (wired) or display
Submission Fee: $20 per artwork, $10 each additional piece
This juried award exhibition- First Place $150 Second $75 and Third $50
Examples of unconventional surfaces
- Round / oval / hexagonal / octagonal canvas/wood panel
- Painted shoes, surfboards, skateboards
- Vinyl records, mirrors, wood scraps
- Sculptural or 3D objects
- Driftwood, book covers, trays
- Ceramic tiles, metal, lampshades, and more
IMPORTANT DATES:
- Submissions Due for Jury-In/ drop-off at gallery: October 24, 25th 11-2pm
- Notification of Acceptance: Monday, Oct. 27th via email
- Pick-up date for non-accepted artwork, Wednesday, Oct. 29th, 3-7pm during Creative Wednesday.
Show Dates: November 1-30. 2025
Reception Date: October 14th, 4-7pm
