Ross Adcock studied at the Art Center College of Design and Otis Parsons School of Design, with a background in graphic design and illustration.
In the early stages of his career, Ross focused on pen-and-ink drawings, watercolors, and pastels, primarily in a representational style. Over the last decade, his work has evolved into a contemporary mixed-media approach, often incorporating found objects such as rusted wire.
Ross’s contemporary mixed-media work is truly inspiring, influenced by his travels across Mexico, especially Oaxaca. His vibrant, textured, and unique pieces reflect his deep connection to the culture and landscapes he encounters. In addition to his artwork, Ross is also an avid collector of historical handmade pottery from the town of Mata Ortiz.
